 Meet your wellness facilitator

Abi Baker

Wellness Workshop Facilitator

I've seen it in myself, my clients, and my friends. We hold ourselves to sky-high standards that are hard to meet. We're either all in, or not at all – caught waiting for the perfect time to strike, or burned out from unsustainable demands. Sometimes it stops us from moving altogether, afraid we can't do it the "right" way, or that we'll fail trying. What's worse, we carry around the weight of unfinished projects, past errors, and old attempts — building a growing story that we're just not someone who follows through.

However you label it, the perfectionist mindset can range from a touch annoying to downright debilitating. I've created a wellness workshop to help us understand the mindset and where it comes from, with tools to navigate it differently — favouring progress and growth over unattainable perfection.

Understanding your Perfectionist Patterns

Learn where perfectionist thinking can come from and how it may show up through excessively high standards, self criticism, stop-start cycles, or an all-or-nothing approach.

Recognising these patterns can help you understand why certain goals, decisions or unfinished tasks feel so difficult to navigate.

Move Beyond All-or-Nothing Thinking

Perfectionism can leave us waiting for the ideal time to begin, afraid of doing something incorrectly or pushing ourselves until we burn out.

Explore more flexible ways to approach expectations, mistakes and setbacks without abandoning the things that matter to you.

Build Supportive, Sustainable Momentum

Practise tools that can help you take action without needing everything to feel perfect first.

You’ll learn how to approach goals in smaller, more manageable ways that favour progress, growth and consistency over unattainable perfection.
