Wellington Womens Strength Classes

Learn strength training fundamentals

Join for a class at any stage. Our classes are structured into 8 week full body strength training blocks, giving you time to learn, practise, and progress key strength movements, but there’s no requirement to commit to the full block.

Whether you're brand new or coming back to fitness, we’ll meet you where you’re at and get you progressing!

Not Confident in the Weights Area?

Feeling Unsure Where to Start? Feeling Intimidated by the Gym? We’ve got you.

If you’ve ever felt intimidated in the weights area or worried about doing it wrong, you’re not alone. Our classes are designed to help women build confidence, learn proper technique, and train in a space that feels welcoming and supportive. With expert coaching and a clear plan, you’ll know exactly what to do and feel good doing it.

CLASSES Built Around Strength, Confidence, and Community

Gain Strength

Build strength in key movement patterns like squatting, hinging, pressing, pulling, carrying, and core control.

As your control and confidence improve, we gradually build on what you’ve learned, increasing the challenge in a way that feels manageable and sustainable.

Build CONFIDENCE

Gym spaces can feel intimidating when you’re unsure what to do or focus on.

These classes remove the guesswork by teaching you what to do, why it matters, and how to adjust movements to your body. You’ll build confidence in a private studio, without the pressure of a crowded weights area.

Find COMMUNITY

Train in a supportive, low pressure group where you can receive expert coaching without the cost of 1-on-1 personal training.

Women come in at different ages and stages, creating space for connection, shared challenges, women’s health, pelvic floor strength, menopause, and training confidence.

Wellington Small Group Training FOR WOMEN OF ALL LEVELS

You don’t need to be strong before you start, and you don’t need to know your way around the gym. Our coaches meet you where you are, helping you progress at a level that feels right for you.

Strength Training

Strength training is crucial to maintaining your health, particularly as you age. It helps to maintain and improve:

  • Bone density and strength

  • Joint support and mobility

  • Muscle strength

  • Posture

Flexible Training Blocks

You can attend both nights each week or just one, depending on your schedule. Regular attendance will help you get the most from each block, but the classes are flexible enough to fit around real life.

Core And Pelvic Floor Strength

We often explore breathing, bracing, core control, and pelvic floor awareness as part of strength training. These skills can help you feel more supported during lifts and are useful for women across many different life stages.

Functional Movement

Our warm ups cover different skills and challenges, including mobility, coordination, plyometrics, and functional movement.

Everything is coached and scaled to meet you where you are, helping you feel more capable, confident, and prepared to support your body for the long term.

Whether it's running, practising yoga, or bush walks, I love the freedom to choose activities that resonate with me and contribute to my overall well-being.
