When first getting into fitness, my experience (and expectations) were minimal. I had a background in hiking but not much more than that. Not knowing what to expect, I was unsure but with a desire to challenge myself to gain a higher level of fitness. The start to my journey had a few ups and downs, sometimes even a little frustrating, but after a few months I started to fall in love with the process and things started to make more sense.
After a few years of training and getting some good results with some strength and muscle growth training, I decided to expand my horizons into other ways to train and other aspects of health and fitness. I started training a few friends at my local gym and really found a passion in helping others get started into exercise, kickstarting the process of my personal training career.
Now, with a few years of PT experience under my belt, I now focus my time on building up other people’s fitness levels, finding passion in all different aspects of fitness and exercise. From my own experience, exercise and movement can truly enhance many different aspects of your life and general wellbeing, both inside and outside the gym.
